International Specialized Exhibition Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2025 Opens in Astana

Today, the official opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2025 — a key event in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking — took place at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Astana. The exhibition brings together hundreds of companies and industry experts.
The event was attended by Yersain Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Martin Frélich, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic; Meiram Pshembaev, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan and Anar Makasheva, President of the Kazakhstan Automobile Union.

Minister Yersain Nagaspayev delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony, highlighting the importance of the sector:
"Mechanical engineering is the foundation of the country's industrial potential, a driver of technological progress, and a pillar of the national economy. The sector accounts for 19% of the manufacturing industry," the Minister noted.

Guests familiarised themselves with the products of domestic engineering companies, including leading automotive manufacturers that showcased domestically produced passenger and commercial vehicles.
Local automotive manufacturers, members of the Kazakhstan Automobile Union, showcased their stands where visitors could explore vehicles and commercial equipment manufactured in Kazakhstan.
Among the exhibitors were major domestic companies such as Allur, Astana Motors, QazTehna, Virazh Group, KAMAZ-Engineering, and others. The exhibition also featured domestic automotive component manufacturers, including Almaty Autoparts Production and Kainar-AKB.

Special attention was drawn to the national expositions of Germany, Turkey, Austria, Italy, and China. The German pavilion featured joint stands representing the federal states of Saxony and Thuringia, along with leading German companies offering high-tech solutions across various industries.
Every year, the exhibition attracts thousands of professionals, including representatives of manufacturing plants, wholesale and retail suppliers of machinery and equipment, companies involved in the development and production of industrial technologies, as well as specialists in the construction and processing industries, public authorities, engineers, automation and robotics experts and professionals in industrial design and engineering.
