OVER 20,000 NEW VEHICLES SOLD IN KAZAKHSTAN IN JULY

● July’s Top 5 Brands: Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, Jetour, and Chery
According to data from the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (KAU), sales of new vehicles in Kazakhstan in July 2025 grew by 10.6%, surpassing the 20,000-unit mark — 3.9% higher than in June and the strongest monthly result this year. Official dealerships sold 20,165 passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Since the beginning of the year, 125,034 new vehicles have been sold, up 23.4% compared to the same period last year.
Anar Makasheva, President of the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (KAU): "The pace of new vehicle sales in July remains strong. The market today offers a broad range of models and configurations to meet the widest variety of customer preferences. Significantly, 8 out of the 10 best-selling models in July were locally assembled. Buyers in Kazakhstan choose new vehicles for their high quality and compliance with modern safety standards. It remains essential to continue implementing measures to renew the vehicle fleet."
The brand ranking in July saw changes at the top: Chevrolet (4,048 units; +70.4% vs. July 2024) moved into first place, pushing Hyundai to second with 3,713 units (-14.4%). Kia held third with 2,170 units (+11.9%). Jetour ranked fourth (1,321 units; +26.7%), followed by Chery (1,138 units; -17%). The next positions were taken by Jac (1,111 units; -5.4%), Haval (1,036 units; +10.2%), Toyota (943 units; +4.1%), Changan (904 units; +35.5%), and Geely (501 units; -28.5%).
The best-selling models in July were: Chevrolet Cobalt (3,417 units), Hyundai Tucson (1,211 units), Kia Sportage (955 units), Hyundai Elantra (695 units), Hyundai Mufasa (666 units), Jac S3 (605 units), Haval M6 (528 units), Chevrolet Onix (471 units), Hyundai Santa Fe (468 units), and Chery Tiggo 2 (397 units).
Cumulative brand sales for the first seven months put Hyundai in the lead (27,931 units; +23.7%), followed by Chevrolet (17,354 units; +67.7%), Kia (13,489 units; +0.2%), Jetour (8,563 units; +73.7%), Chery (8,453 units; +5.5%), Haval (6,830 units; +33.7%), Changan (5,909 units; +21.1%), Jac (5,838 units; -7.7%), Geely (5,772 units; +45.9%), and Toyota (5,502 units; +1.5%).
