• Top 5 of October: Hyundai, Chevrolet, Kia, Changan and Jetour

According to the “Kazakhstan Automobile Union” (KAU), in October 2025, official dealers in Kazakhstan sold 20,205 new passenger and commercial vehicles, which is 10.1% more than in September, but 6% less than in October last year. A total of 181,789 vehicles were sold over the first ten months (+14.6%).

Anar MAKASHEVA, President of KAU: “October once again proves to be the month of the best deals and seasonal discounts - 20,000 new cars found their owners last month. Dealers have launched new financial products. It is especially worth noting the growing share of brands whose vehicles have only recently begun production in Kazakhstan. It is clear that 2025 will set a new record for Kazakhstan’s automobile retail sector.”

In October, Hyundai remained in first place with 4,264 units (+44.6% compared to October last year). Chevrolet ranked second (2,802 units; -55.3%), while Kia (1,901 units; -21.2%) closed out the top three. Changan showed significant growth with 1,463 units (+136.7%), as did Jetour (1,283 units; +41.5%). Next in the ranking: Chery (1,183 units; -14.6%), Toyota (1,138 units; -3.2%), Haval (1,026 units; -22.8%), Jac (808 units; -17.6%), and Geely (656 units; +0.6%). 

In the Top 10 most popular models, the top three remained unchanged for the eighth consecutive month: Chevrolet Cobalt (1,889 units), Hyundai Tucson (1,726 units), and Kia Sportage (876 units). Fourth place went to Chevrolet Onix (838 units), followed by Changan CS55 Plus (774 units). The rest of the list: Hyundai Elantra (678 units), Hyundai Mufasa (636 units), Toyota Camry (573 units), Hyundai Santa Fe (510 units), and Haval M6 (441 units).

Over the first ten months, Hyundai remains the leading brand with (39,959 units; +17.2%). Chevrolet holds second place with 25,709 units (+16.6%), while Kia ranks third with 19,491 units (+0.1%). Jetour is in fourth place with 11,686 units (+57.1%), and Chery ranks fifth with 11,395 units (-4.7%). Haval is sixth (9,333 units; +13.5%) Next in line: Changan (9,125 units; +35.5%), Toyota (8,823 units; +2.8%), Geely (8,192 units; +30.9%), and Jac (8,190 units; -9.9%).
