• Top 5 in February: Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet, Chery, Jetour
According to the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (KAU), in February 2026 official dealers in Kazakhstan sold 13,399 new passenger and commercial vehicles, which is 16.1% lower than in February of the previous year. As a result of the first two months, 27,643 vehicles were sold, which is 1.5% higher than in the same period last year.
Anar MAKASHEVA, President of KAU:“Despite the decline in sales in February, based on the results of the first two months, the new car market in Kazakhstan maintains positive dynamics. It is important to note that all models included in the top ten most popular vehicles in February are manufactured in Kazakhstan. This confirms the high level of trust among Kazakhstan consumers in domestically produced automotive products.”
